Extraction of Lignin

The Cell is working with  S.A. Silva & Sons Lanka (Pvt)LTD under a project to extract lignin from biomass.The main objective of this project is to extract lignin fibers from coconut husk/shell flour and to optimize the lignin extraction method. The research work has begun in the September 2017.
